Enquiries

The contact form opens a draft in your own email application. The website does not submit or store the form contents on a server. If you send the draft, we receive your name, email address and message and use them to respond and discuss your project. Avoid including sensitive personal information.

Hosting and security

Cloudflare hosts this website and processes connection information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the service. Operational logs may be processed for troubleshooting. Email correspondence is kept in Gmail through Google Workspace. We also use an automated assistant called Jinn to organize information from enquiries and project correspondence in Notion for follow-up and project administration. This may include contact details and relevant correspondence. Cloudflare, Google Workspace and Notion may process information outside Canada.

Video and external sites

We do not use advertising trackers or visitor analytics on this website. Cloudflare Web Analytics and Real User Monitoring are disabled. YouTube and Biohazard VFX content loads only after you explicitly choose to load that provider in a project viewer. Those services may process your IP address and device information and use their own cookies or storage. Their privacy policies apply: Google / YouTube. You can use the external watch links instead of playing an embed.

Local storage

Session storage remembers your choice to load a third-party provider for this session and whether you have entered the site so the intro plays once per session. The legacy editor can store drafts locally in your browser. The CMS uses GitHub authentication and stores its session information in your browser; it is intended for authorized editors.

Your information

Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information you have provided. We generally keep enquiry emails in Gmail and related notes in Notion for future reference and ongoing client relationships. We do not currently apply a routine deletion schedule, so these records may be retained indefinitely unless removed following a request or a review. We consider deletion requests in light of applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements. This policy will be updated if our data practices change.
